I'm back! Woohoo the break did me good! I feel so much better after resting and recharging. Gomen ne, short post coming up. Will include a more lengthy entry after I'm done clearing the crappy workload while I was away. Argh~

Updates for the past week

- I was in Hong Kong for a vacation! Did loads of shopping, walking and eating and of course SNOOZING! I didn't buy alot of things but enough to make me a happy little woman.
- I had a short work week.
- I went to the Singapore Flyer. Finally! I love the place but a little pricey for budget-conscious people like me.
- I have a NEW PET.

Marimo (毬藻) also known as Cladophora ball, Lake ball, or Moss Balls is a species of filamentous green algae found in a number of lakes in the northern hemisphere. A marimo is a rare growth form of the species where the algae grow into large green balls. Marimos can be found in Hokkaido and Iceland.

And of course, my Mo-chan is from Lake Akan, Hokkaido. :P

Marimos grow about 5 mm each year. Mo-chan is probably only one or two years old since it is still relatively small in size. Marimos which are the size of a palm are at least 10 years old.
