It has been a foodie week! I had sooooo much to eat that I felt sleepy 24/7. Calling out to shoppaholics out there! Robinsons is having a sale and the best part of the sale, they are ABSORBING the 7% GST imposed. Greeeaaaatttt. I bought 2 boobie covers (paiseh ah, to write B**) for only $18 including a discount of 7%. CHEAP RIGHT????? I saw this really pretty white dress but totemo takai (very expensive). Tight budget ne~

I'm going to Hong Kong in March! Yippee loo laa~ Kaimono, kaimono, kaimono! I'm looking for new shopping areas to visit this time round, especially the hugggeeeee Agnes B store. Kya~

Takayama

Takayama 高山市 is a city located in Gifu, Japan. About 7-8 hours by train and shinkansen from Tokyo. The city is fairly old, dating back to the Jomon period. Takayama is well-known for its inhabitants expertise in carpentry.

Takayma Train Station

Old Private Houses (Furui Machi Nami). These houses were built during the Edo period and are currently recognised as a preservation area.

The rich atmosphere of the city still lingers, and these houses are now used for small businesses selling sake, soya sauce, senbei and etc.

Morning Market (Asa-ichi) Here, we can find fresh vegetables, fruits, souvenoirs, snacks found only in Takayama, handicrafts and etc.

Our minshuku! While we were in Takayama, we spent the night at a minshuku and we slept on tatamis, showered in a heated bath and of course we tried the onsen NAKED. Hahaah..... No nude pics to show. *In an embarrassed voice* Ooooo.... the name of our room was Ma Tsu. *Squeals* See, even the name of my room has an affliation to Massu. Kya~

Takayma is also the home of a famous Shinto festival (Takayama Matsuri) which is one of the three most beautiful festivals in Japan. During the matsuri which is held in April and October, festival floats are displayed on the streets of Takayama.

This is out of point, but my sensei is from Takayama!

Poseidon is on TV! *Runs off to watch*
