So exciting! 7 more days to the D n D! I'm planning to have loads of fun and have a great evening pigging out and partying~ Ooooo~~ Exciting!
It has been an awfully busy week at work. To cure my "sian-ness", I have been practising what I call Maine's French. Hahaha. Zit zis zomething zat ZaI came zup zith to irritate serebidy zat work. Yesh. That is Maine's French. And this was what I said in the earlier sentence, "It is something that I came up with to irritate everybody at work". Hehehe, I know you are all irritated already!! Back to Watashi no Nihon Yasumi. Nagoya Nagoya (名古屋市) is the third-largest city and the fourth most populous urban area in Japan. The best way to get to Nagoya>>> Shinkansen (journey to Nagoya from Tokyo takes about 90 minutes). On our way to Nagoya, we had a great view of Mount Fuji. Our asa gohan= breakfast. They serve really good bentos on the shinkansen though a little pricey. And the greedy pig who ordered this on the shinkansen, my Sister. Oh, they have train stewardess too. Shinkansen. The shinkansen tickets are very expensive. A return trip costs roughly $200. But... it is worth every single cent with the comfort and speed. Nagoya Castle. Nagoya Castle is one of the famous tourist attraction in Nagoya. The castle was built in the beginning of the Edo Period for one of the three Tokugawa family branches, the Owari. The interior of the castle is now a modern museum displaying the castle's history. The Nagoya TV Tower is an electric wave tower in Nagoya. It is the oldest TV tower in Japan, and was completed in 1954. The tower stands at 180 metres. Oasis 21. The futuristic structure is modelled after a space ship. What makes the structure interesting? The elevated and translucent roof that contains a shallow pool and a glass walkway that visitors can stroll around. Visit http://www.virtualaichi.com/oasis21.htm# for more breathtaking pictures. Tebasaki (Nagoya Wings)! Tebasaki is a specialty dish from Nagoya and a must-try! Tebasaki= Chicken wings coated with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce. Oishiii~ Ah~~ all the talk about food is making me hungry..... Hungry... I want okonomiyaki. |
