How should I describe myself today when my slipper suddenly gave way? A cool and tough cookie. I had this premonition that my slipper would give way today, but I still decided to wear it. Then, while playing with my slipper during dinner, it silently protested by breaking.

So, after dinner I told my mum I wanted to go home since they wanted to go marketing. My grandma urged me to buy a new pair of slipper but I decided to be COOL and walk home barefooted much to the disgust of some diners. I could not care less about whether people were staring at this "siao gao" with a slipper on one foot. I just wanted to get home and bathe cause it was super humid outside. But, I am really thankful that there was not any glass or spit on the ground.

Anyway, I will be out of town this coming weekend. So looking forward to it! I shall shop, shop and more shopping! Will be back next tuesday.
