Gah. I lost my earlier post cause I could not remember the right password to enter blogspot. Ah pui. Hahah that explains the absence.

Project Uchiwa is still in progress. The small uchiwa is almost done. I am left with the big uchiwa which is still in the baby stage. Argh..... only 1 more week! *Panic mode*

The 50% completed Uchiwa! The front of the bigger uchiwa will be something similar but it will read Singapore in katakana at the back of the uchiwa. Hoho... I am going to use glitter bits to piece the word "Singapore" together. :)!

And so over the weekend, the Tang cousins had an outing to

Universal Studios! It was a first visit for the most of us and we really enjoyed ourselves!

On Fridays and Saturdays, visitors only pay $5 for the night admission (7pm-10pm). The price is really reasonable for people who just want to stroll around the place, buy some Universal Studios souvenoirs and have dinner.

Dinner! We had pizza for dinner and yes that is the "regular" sized pizza. :P

After dinner, we took a stroll around the place. The rides were closed but there was still a fair amount of area for us to cover and take some pictures.

Each part of the theme park has a different theme, i.e. Far Far Away Land, Madagascar, Hollywood and etc.

I call this "Mafia Land"~~~ The place was designed to resemble the old fishing wharfs in the US.

Almost forgot about the fireworks show. They have a fireworks how at 9.30pm during the night admission days. The fireworks display is a must watch! So, don't leave right after dinner.

Gah. Got to get back to completing work I brought home.
