Just before you gals start thinking that I have decided to stop blogging, hahhah.... how can I stop? This is probably the place where you can hear juicy bits about myself (hehe I heard you saying, "who cares!") and about Ma-chan! Well, the body decided to go on strike today and I finally got to sleep in! 嬉しい！I miss my sleep~~

Two weekends ago, I attended Waseda Shibuya's Seiran with the girls! Seiran is an annual funfair held by the students from Waseda Shibuya (they have a branch here). The event is held to allow the students to share the Japanese culture and an opportunity for them to practise their English. I personally felt the event was much better than the Natsu matsuri held in August as the students "build" the event on their own without any sponsors. The students did a good job trying to showcase the Japanese culture with the many exhibitions and activities.

The best way to introduce a country's culture>>> through their FOOD! The food was prepared by the students with a little help from their sensei. Ooo I had the pork okonomiyaki~~

Ika yakisoba! This was good.

Slime exhibition. They turned the science lab into a slime exhibition where we had a hands-on session mixing chemicals to get the above product.

Hantu. Hahah our guide from the haunted house attraction. The main attraction of the Seiran is always the haunted house, as the attraction is supposed to the largest and most enjoyable. Well, I guess I enjoyed it since I laughed my way through the attraction. :)

There were also other attractions like cha-do (Japanese tea ceremony), The Maze (similar to monopoly but played in lifesize), The Planetarium, etc.

超面白い！Definitely going back next year! 皆さんお疲れ！

Oops, I sound like a promoter for JTB (Japanese Tourism Board). Hahah~~ The weekend is coming! またね！Oh oh and before I forget, Ma-chan's hair is back to black!
