Lalalala~~ CNY is just round the corner and I am feeling really excited about it! It is probably cause I love hanging out at my aunt's place and there will always be both dry and wet swimming sessions. Hohohoho.

But before the new year begins, it is spring cleaning time! I don't particularly enjoy cleaning the dusty cupboards but I like the sense of achievement of keeping the place clean.

クリーニングスタート!(Cleaning starts!)

And after cleaning, I reward myself with food~~ Homemade ぶたにくしゃぶしゃぶ (pork shabu shabu). It is really simple to make.

How to make ぶたにくしゃぶしゃぶ

1. Ingredients: Thin slices of frozen shabu shabu (beef or pork is fine), leek, spring onions, big cabbage, sotong ball, lobster ball, tempura sauce, mushrooms, sugar, salt and udon.

2. Boil about half a pot of water (depends on the size of your pot and how much soup you would like to make). When the water is hot, add about 4-5 tablespoons of tempura sauce. Add a little salt and sugar. Bring the soup to boil.

3. Add lobster ball, sotong ball, followed by leek, cabbage, mushrooms. About 3 mins later, add shabu shabu, spring onions and udon. Allow the items to boil for about 3-4 mins and you get ぶたにくしゃぶしゃぶ!

4. My recommendation: Dip the cooked shabu shabu with shabu shabu sauce. 超美味しい!

*Reminder: Wash all your items before cooking!

That's all for Maine's cooking!
