Yalalu. I finally found some time to blog about my 9-day Sakura Trip. So did you all guess what the last picture is? Ahem, you better get the right answer since I have been mentioning the THING like a zillion times on my blog. Nooooo it is totally not NEWS related.

And the THING is

Sakuras~~ There were a vast variety of sakuras, pink, purple, white, small, big and the list goes on. But the best word to describe the sakura season>>> Pretty.

Sakuras and a peaceful lake

By the way, Bai and I went on a sakura viewing session shortly after our 7-hour flight. We were dead tired since we could not get much sleep on the plane. But the sight of the sakuras made us genki right away.

Besides, sakura watching on the first day in Tokyo, we visited conbinis (nani? Well, "conbini" is a term coined by the Japanese for convenient shops aka 7-Eleven). Visiting conbinis were a daily routine for Bai and I. Hahahah... of course I frequented Lawsons (the conbini NEWS are currently endorsing for). As you can see in the above picture, they were not offering free NEWS posters for shopping at Lawsons, so I had to snap a picture of their poster in the conbini. I will gladly spend 1000yen in exchange for the NEWS poster. Kya~~~

In Tokyo, there are JR trains set aside just for the ladies to use. Well, the reason for doing so, "hentais". The JR system in Tokyo is really convenient and efficient. Imagine getting from Jurong East to Orchard in just 20mins. Fast right?

After our beauty rest the night before, we were up and fresh to head for Kawagoe (an old castle town which was converted into a mini tourist attraction among locals).

The entrance of a shrine in Kawagoe. There are several shrines like the above in Kawagoe which are still frequented by the locals.

Kita-in Temple. One of the several shrines in Kawagoe and probably the most frequented and most popular shrine there.

We were really lucky that day. Shrine activities (it is similar to the fun-fairs in Singapore) were being held during our visit and we got to experience the Japanese culture of visiting shrines.

And I found this!

Takopachi. Oishii-so~~

Well, I shall leave you to savour the takopachi. Speaking of takopachi, my stomach growled. Argh~~
