I finally slogged through my Jap test. The half day was worth it. Hehe... though I took a short nap cause I was just dead tired. Everything is just getting more difficult and I forsee intermediate level is going to be a whole lot worse.

My new glasses are ready! I will post it up later shortly. Yes, I am officially short-sighted my friends. No more eagle-eyed Maine. I'm still trying to get use to my new glasses, cause everytime I wear it, I feel dizzy.

Kimchi Adventure Part 2:

Seoul in Love

So, I spent a couple of days in Seoul when I first arrived. Here was my first dinner in Seoul.

My dad calls it "Bing Bing Piang Piang". It is actually Bim Bim Bap, a dish of rice and ingredients mixed together in a clay pot.

This dish is nice. It is beef soup served in hot pot. The soup base is a little sweet, and they top it with my favourite enoki mushrooms!

One of the roadside stalls serving hot food. Cause of the cold weather, you get these "PVC stalls" where we just "hide" from the cold.

Daesugung Palace. One of the more famous palaces located in Seoul. The kings and queens used to reside here during the monarchy period.

Namdaemun. One of the fortresses built in the monarchy period because of the wars in Korea. Ooo.. by the way, this is one of the places where I shopped till I drop!

Namie Island. The scenery here was simply breathtaking. I can understand why all the aunties loved this place. *drum rolls*. Winter Sonata (the drama which shot Bae Yong Jun to fame) was filmed here. And yes, these were the row of trees that the 2 leads fell in love with each other.

My sis is going for her exchange to Hong Kong in 2 days time. Yeah, I have the whole bed to myself soon! Wahahaha... well I will definitely miss her. And yes, I will want to visit her so I can SHOP~~~~~
