So, have you all digested the pictures I posted? Well, those pictures are just a microscopic portion of the amount of pictures I took. My 2 weeks were very much packed to the brim with activities and classes so I had to make use of whatever time I had to learn more about Hangzhou's culture.

Guess what? The people there really embraces Taiwan celebs. From S.H.E to Pan Weibo to Jay Chou, their faces can be seen plastered on all walls of buildings and products they endorse. The only time that I got abit gaga was when I visited the "wahaha" drink factory which sees Wang Lee Hom as their endorser. So, there I was, snapping pictures of Lee Hom's posters.

Another thing is that singing K is so darn cheap there. S$12 for 5 hours with free flow of buffet. Ok, I did not really eat and sing cause there were too many people in 1 room but it is still worth it.

Anyway, I visited the new Zhejiang University campus which was pretty modern.





I also visited this wholesale market, Yiwu which sells anything to everything like artificial flowers, soft toys, clothes and bags. Yiwu is huge with more than 50,000 shops. The place is air-conditioned, so you can shop in comfort. The prices are great but the only thing is if you can find someone who will sell to you their goods not in bulks. That is a huge deterrence for tourists like us who only want to purchase a single item due to the constraints of our luggage.
