Extra ideas to the story started to flow in an hour ago, so I thought I better pen it down now.


Story : Nikki is to start work at the hotel after a day's rest. Since it is her first day at work, Nikki decides to treat her colleagues to Moonbarks Coffee (of course driving there in her convertible). While waiting for the coffee to be packed, in comes a tall, dark and handsome man. Nikki was bowled over by his good looks and suaveness as he fufilled the criteria Nikki was looking for in a potential partner.

Indulging in his good looks and charisma, Nikki doesn't realise that Choco Chip Ice-cream (she likes to use this name for any potential suitors) is walking towards her direction. Choco Chip smiles at Nikki before ordering his ice latte. Suddenly, Nikki has an urge to pass gas=fart. In order not to embarrass herself, Nikki dashes across the cafe into the ladies, leaving her handphone on the table. Emerging from the ladies feeling relieved, Nikki sees Choco Chip sitting at her table. Before she can sit down, Choco Chip dashes out of the Moonbarks. Can you imagine the disappointed look on Nikki's face?

Driving back to the hotel, Nikki receives a call from a really sickening and whiny woman who keeps asking whoever that was to not leave her and that she loves him alot. Nikki repeatedly tells her that she probably got the wrong number but the irritating woman refuses to end the call. After cutting off the call, Nikki realises that the phone she has is not hers..... Argh.. it must be that Choco Chip (oh they have the same phone).


Arriving at the hotel angry, pissed and totally disappointed with Papaya ice-cream( name she use for guys she hates), Nikki drags herself to her office. After the usual assignment of work and 'hellos' and 'hi's', Nikki is told that she has to work with a new manager on a project who will start work today as well. Guess what? The new manager is none other than Papaya ice-cream!!! Never in her wildest dream would she have thought that she has to work with someone she hates!

Nikki hates papayas. Papaya ( i'm going to use his real name now, its Dunkin) tries to be nice but....she doesn't care. Finally, gathering all her courage Nikki returns the phone to Dunkin and sarcastically rebukes him for being a playboy. Unable to understand her cold attitude towards him only on the first day of meeting, Dunkin is upset.

Will Nikki continue to dislike Dunkin? How will their misunderstanding be resolved? Why is Dunkin upset about Nikki's cold attitude and why does he care so much about her? All will be revealed in the fourth installment of Lavanabaca Hotel.
